The kitchen stops filling the dining room with smoke and smells.
The hood catches the steam and grease above the range, and the ducting carries it outside. The dining room smells of the food on the plate, not of the air. And the people in the kitchen get through the shift with less heat.
-
As much air comes in as goes out.
A hood pulling with no air coming in leaves the room under negative pressure: doors are hard to open, the flames on the range lose strength and the air conditioning works for nothing. The fresh-air intake is sized together with the extraction.

How we work.
-
We look at the kitchen
We come to the site free of charge. We look at the cooking line, where the ducting can come out and where fresh air can come in, and what hours allow work without stopping service.
-
We propose and quote
We tell you which hood, which duct route and which fan we propose, and why. It comes with a fixed price, in writing.
-
We fit it and switch it on
Hood, ducting, fan and fresh-air intake, in stages and outside the busiest hours. At the end we switch it all on in front of you and set the airflow.

This is not a quote: the team confirms everything with you before there is a price.
Questions we are often asked.
We do the whole circuit: the hood above the cooking line, the ducting out to the open air, the extraction fan and the fresh-air intake that replaces what leaves. We also replace just one part, when the rest is sound.
No. They are two separate systems. Extraction takes the smoke and grease out of the kitchen; air conditioning handles the dining room air in a closed circuit. We do both, each in its place.
We work it out at the visit. There are routes through the roof, through ventilation shafts that already exist, or out the back. Where the building has rules, the route is drawn to meet them and goes on paper to show whoever approves it.
In most cases yes, in stages and outside service hours. The final connection is done on a day agreed with you.
It depends on the size of the hood, the length and bends of the ducting and what you cook. It is measured at the visit. Too small a fan will not pull; too big a fan is noisy and sends all your cooled air up the flue.
No. The visit and the quote are free, and the quote comes in writing.
Yes. The equipment we supply and install carries a three-year warranty. After the job we are a phone call away for any questions that come up.
